Why Choose Us?

Our #1 priority is your safety. We will not compromise on that. Here are the reasons we feel we are a great choice for your rider training.

1. We sincerely believe in the MSF curriculum. We believe the Basic RiderCourse is the very best way for new riders to learn to ride. We understand that some people need a little more time to assemble the skills to pass the riding evaluation at the end of the course. If you do not pass the riding evaluation the first time, we will work with you until you have the skills to successfully pass.
We will not charge you to come back and retake the class even if it takes months!

2. We do not charge our prior students for replacement cards. If you lose or destroy your card, just call or e-mail us and we will mail you a free replacement.

3. We understand that people have hectic schedules and 15 hours needed to complete a RiderCourse is a huge time investment. In respect for our customers, we do not cancel classes due to low enrollment. We do not have a set minimum student number to run a class. If you register and the weather permits, we will run the class!

4. We have some of the most experienced female RiderCoaches in the business. We specialize in our Women Only Basic RiderCourses and receive great praise from our prior students.

5. We offer several different scheduling options to include our Weeknight Basic RiderCourse. This course meets Monday through Friday from 6 pm – 9 pm during our summer schedule.

6. The MTA owners and the majority of our RiderCoaches are either active or retired military personnel. We have experience in the military, and understand the responsibilities and commitments of our military. We can adjust to meet your hectic schedule.

7. We use full size riding ranges. These ranges are about ¾’s the size of a football field. Smaller, modified ranges can be as small as the “end zone” of the football field.  Full size ranges allow speeds of up to 20-25 mph giving you a better representation of true motorcycle handling. Smaller ranges may only allow lower speeds in first gear. Learning to counter-steer, negotiating, hazard avoidance maneuvers and stopping quickly is best learned when you are able to get up to and maintain adequate speeds. Size is important!

We use a full size range allowing for 12 students on the range at a time. This allows for a 6 to 1 student to instructor ratio which is a lower than the 8 to 1 ratio as typical on smaller (modified) ranges. Lower student ratios ensure our instructors can better assist our students.
